Aleena Jarrar joins Fly High Media as our new Digital Marketing Executive. We thought we’d catch up with her on how she’s enjoying her time at Fly High Media and what she does in her spare time!
What does your role consist of?
As a digital marketing executive, I wear many hats from writing compelling copy to creating striking social media posts for Fly High Media and our clients. I am incredibly passionate about my job because it allows my creativity to flourish and bring our client’s goals to life visually.
What are you most looking forward to in this role?
Working in a digital marketing agency means partnering with various clients, making each day unique. I love the dynamic nature of this role, which keeps me on my toes and constantly learning new skills while refining my existing ones. Not to mention the creativity that this position allows me to bring to the table is one of my greatest motivations.
What makes you want to go into Digital Marketing?
My journey to this point has been quite an adventure. For most of my life, I was unsure about my career path; all I knew was that I wanted to incorporate my love for art into my profession. Halfway through my Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance, I realised that marketing was my true passion. That’s when I began learning graphic design and pursued a Master’s in Digital Marketing. Fast forward to today, I couldn’t be happier with where I am and what I do. Designing posts and bringing ideas to life is truly what I’ve always wanted.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Most of my time is spent binge-watching movies and shows and I’m proud of inching towards my goal of watching every sitcom ever made! Besides that, I love food and travel. Whenever I get the chance, I explore new places with my friends and indulge in the local cuisine. Oh, and I also paint, which occupies a lot of my time.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
This is tough, my travel bucket list has way too many places! I’m from South Asia, and have already visited quite a few countries in the Middle East and Europe. So, next on my list are Japan, Egypt, or Morocco maybe? But now I’m thinking Thailand too, so clearly, I can’t pick just one. I hope I never have to because there’s so much I need to see (special mention: Iceland)!
