Meet Our New Digital Marketing Assistant

Fly High Media are delighted to announce the appointment of Leanne Cunningham as their new digital marketing assistant.

As an experienced graphic designer, Leanne brings a wealth of creative skills to Fly High Media. Since graduating from the University of Chester in 2019 with a first-class degree in Illustration with Animation, she has worked both freelance and in-house to bring graphic design solutions to numerous different businesses.

On Leanne’s first day at Fly High Media, we took the time to ask her a few questions, to get to know her better.

What made you want to pursue a career in digital marketing?

I feel digital marketing and graphic design are both creative trades that go hand-in-hand. I am really looking forward to continuing to create graphic design assets but with the addition of being able to further develop my digital marketing skills and better understand how different techniques and strategies are implemented to support and grow businesses. I feel I can learn a lot from the experienced digital marketing professionals at Fly High Media.

What areas of graphic design do you specialise in?

I have strong professional experience in creating a range of different graphic design media for clients. These include; logos, media for print (flyers, brochures etc.); advertisements for social media and websites; infographic designs for social media; and motion graphics for mobile applications and web.

What will your role consist of?

I will be creating graphic design assets for all the clients we work with, as well as focusing on in-house social media marketing for Fly High Media. I’m looking forward to uniting my two passions in this one career.

Let’s tell the world a bit more about you. What do you get up to in your spare time?

Outside of work, I love to draw; it has been an unrelenting passion of mine since childhood. These days I like to draw using my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. My favourite things to draw are sci-fi and fantasy illustrations, custom celebration cards and web-comics.

I’m also an avid gamer. I spend a lot of my time playing video games via PC and console – they were a lifesaver during lockdown!

What are your favourite video games?

That’s a difficult question – I like everything from Pokémon and Animal Crossing to GTA and Skyrim. Recently I’ve been into VR gaming with my friends which has been an awesome experience.

If you were a video game character, which one would you be and why?

Hopefully one like Alyx from the Half-Life series – strong and self-resilient female lead characters are still a bit few and far between in the gaming universe, but I hope to see even more emerge in the future.
